About Us
It is one of the colleges of Alsharq University of Science and Technology, established in 1996 as one of the programs of Alsharq Private College, in line with higher education policies to expand undergraduate studies both quantitatively and qualitatively.
The Establishment
It began its activities in 1996 with the Information Technology program, offering a diploma in Information Technology. In 2014, a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology was added.
In 2017, a postgraduate program (Higher Diploma and Master’s in Information Technology) was introduced.
The Information Technology program has graduated 25 batches at the diploma level, 24 batches at the bachelor’s level, three batches at the master’s level, and four batches at the higher diploma level.
In 2023, the Information Technology program was elevated to the College of Computer Science.
The college includes three departments: (Computer Science, Information Technology, and Information Systems).
